Hello guys.

I just bought new engine from the gizmo motors and it is rcmk based 30,5cc pro mod long block model and gizmo motors Bruce has tickle that engine out 7,5hp and over 3 lb´s of torque.
This engine is on the way to Finland, but i all ready got some parts to this project today.
Special thanks for these parts goes to Sean O´Neill.
So the first thing on this project i got today and it is obr/tr clutch housing and clutch plate.
Amazing quality on these billet alloy parts.

Got the engine today...
First thing i had to remove clutch side oil seal, Bruce was exidently put oil seal on this side, but i removed and put bearing on there.
Note the oil chanel on the bearing wall, and that there is this wall, zenoah and cy is not this kind build.
Image
Flywheel side is bearings and same kind wall between the bearings.

New bearing assembled.

Brilliant tool this one, i bought it from rc-car-online.de

Remove parts and install them with safe way, no hurt for the crankshaft, piston stopper using you might fold the crankshaft rod.
New clutch spring and fg shoes.

Shoes are alo put in wrong side, works better..

Sorry my late respond, i was away for two days my wife sister weddings...
It will give a little more torque when using velocity stack and you have wide range air filters to use.
But i still think stock inner filter and redneck dual filter is the best for all round use, and using shreadhead shread stack inclined..
http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.88503 ... id.7325/.f
I have this in my current engine and it makes stock filter use so much easier and it has also that velocity stack in it.
But i choose for this one DT1 air filter dual layuer and this bzm velocity stack, because it is easy to use and really fast, and dual layer for reason that summer and dusty driving places are on snow any day now, so i dont need to take so much care that broplem.
This bzm velocity stack is different that those models i have had..
Carburetor is new 990 walbro and it is also bought from Gizmo motor, only cost 38$, and it is genuine, not copy..
Cheapest price i have ever seen, and shipping did cost like 9$, not over priced in that shop those things..
Few pictures..
There is an oil ring on the bottom of the velocity stack what is coming to the carburetor, no gasket at all.

Measures.
Wide at that point where the air cleaner comes is 44,50mm.
Lenght is 20mm and total widenes is 50,35mm.
This bzm model is great also for one reason, it is kind lipped, so you can not push the air filter throat too long leave it too short on the stack, so you can allways put it on there same way..
And it is cheap, check it out on the tgn ;)
Today i ordered new billet alloy fan cover in to this engine from ddm, i all ready have orange turtle v2 pull starter, so it will look good in same colored..
So no test drive yet, dont want to build these things twice, so i just need to wait these parts to come and then put it together at once..
At this time i just use my old engine.
Also epoxed that net in to the flywheel holes...
Keep the biggest crap out of the flywheel.

Looking great !

One tip though...
When you put the net inside of the crankcase, you would like to secure the net in one of the aluminium bars to prevent them from going into the flywheel and ignition coil area if they came lose.
Just use a simple stainless steelwire or similar to tie them up !

Dave, dont worry about it, it wont get loose,,it is glued with heavy duty epoxy, araldite..
I have this same kind net glued in my current engine and it has not moved at all.
One picture of exhaust port, quite large it is.. 8-)
Image
Wide 24,20mm and hight 12,8mm.
Stock zenoah engine has a bit smaller exhaust port
Might need to do my exhaust header some dremeling before they match..

These engines do not need to break in, like many of us thinking so.
Esp Doug and Gizmo´s Bruce have told me that just warm up the engine well and give it a hell, so no liters of easy driving, that is just waist of time..

Cheers mate ;)
Now the engine is ready to go, just need to wait that mcd to arrive..
Maybe in 3-weeks for now and i have that car..
Could not wait to put the turtle v2 pull start to this, so i stip it down from the baja and put that stock pull start to baja.
That combo looks really nice now, what do you guys think?

Engine has now find its home finally...
Image
Image
obr/tr clutch housing fits like a glove with out any modificatios.
Image
Engine i needed to do small dremeling.
Image
Image
Exhaust port is so freaking big in this rcmk gizmo model, that i did not could do it as big it is, but did my best.
Image
Pipe is samba four power ultimate lates version.
Might need to do some king heat protect for the tr v2 pull start, exhaust is so close to it.
